How can I find a Magnussen dealer in my area?
There are Magnussen Home dealers all across the United States and Canada. Kindly access our store locator at the bottom of our main page at www.magnussen.com.
Can I buy directly from Magnussen Home?
As a designer, importer and manufacturer of furniture, we partner closely with our network of dealers to provide a complete range of Magnussen Home products to choose from. In light of this partnership, we do not sell directly to consumers. Retail furniture stores are valuable sources for advice, design assistance, as well as delivery and setup services.
Can Magnussen Home provide me with prices?
Magnussen Home does not establish suggested retail prices for our products. Kindly contact a dealer for all pricing inquiries.
Can you direct me to a specific dealer that carries a specific Magnussen collection?
We are not in a position to know what a retailer may have available in their stock, and are unable to direct you to a specific dealer. Please access our store locator at the bottom of our main page at www.magnussen.com.
I purchased from a collection that is now discontinued. Can I still get pieces to match?
Once a style has been discontinued, we can no longer manufacture the item. Unfortunately we are not in a position to know what a store/retailer may have remaining in their stock and unable to direct you to a specific dealer. Kindly access our dealer locator at www.magnussen.com (at the bottom of the main page), and inquire directly with the list of dealers provided.
Can I get wood samples from Magnussen Home directly?
Unfortunately we are not in a position to provide wood samples for any of the collections we offer.
I’ve had a problem with a Magnussen product I purchased. What steps should be taken?
We must request that all service/product concerns be directed through your original Magnussen Home dealer. As all transactions must be through them, they will be able to provide our Customer Care Department with the pertinent information needed so that they in turn can assist/direct you accordingly.
Can I obtain replacement parts from Magnussen Home directly?
In most cases service parts are available. This must however be directed through your original Magnussen Home dealer. They will work with us on your behalf to ensure the correct parts are ordered and sent.
Where can I find a touch-up marker to match my Magnussen Furniture?
We suggest visiting your local hardware stores as they sell Finish Repair Kits and other related materials that can handle most minor touch ups and repairs.
How do I care for my Magnussen Home furniture?
For information, please see care instructions here.
I need to reassemble a piece of Magnussen Home Furniture. Where can I get assembly instructions?
Kindly contact us and we will gladly email you a copy of the assembly instructions. Please include information such as the name of the group or the item number. This will help us to identify the piece you have.
Is a box spring required on a bed with storage drawers?
No, when purchasing a Magnussen bed with either storage rails or a storage footboard, no box spring is required with the mattress. These beds feature 12 slats over the storage boxes. These will support a mattress.
Will Magnussen Home customize your products?
Our products are only available as shown and cannot be custom ordered in a different finish, shape or dimensions. Larger production runs in our factories enable Magnussen Home to offer a better valued product.
How does the Touch Dimmer feature work?
Most Magnussen nightstands have a touch dimmer feature. At the back of the unit is a flat metal strip that controls the dimmer plug on the electrical outlets. The dimmer is turned ‘on’ or ‘off’ by touching any part of this bar. The power outlet is located on the underside of the case. This unit consists of 3 outlet plugs and 1 wall plug (to supply power to the unit). Only 1 plug is controlled by the metal strip. This one is labeled as “dimmer”. It is suggested that a lamp or similar item be plugged into this outlet. The other 2 plugs are “hot”, or always ‘on’ and are not controlled by the metal strip. It is suggested that these be used for an alarm clock or re-charging cords.
Please also note, that newer style eco-friendly light bulbs, in a tri-light lamp, are not compatible with this touch lighting system. It is recommended that incandescent bulbs are used.
My touch dimmer feature is not working. What can I do to fix it?
It is strongly suggested that if you believe your unit is not working, to first ensure the proper connections are all plugged in correctly. Also please note, that newer style eco-friendly light bulbs (florescent, LED), are not compatible with this touch lighting system. It is recommended that incandescent bulbs are used.
If they are, then we request that this concern be directed through your original Magnussen Home dealer. They will work with us on your behalf to ensure the correct parts are ordered and sent.
